Last night (Nov. 18), vice president-elect Mike Pence went to see the popular Broadway play "Hamilton." But based on his experience while he was in the audience, it was most likely for his first and last time.

Throughout the evening, the rest of the audience was booing him. Serving as the righthand man of president-elect Donald Trump, many Americans  disagree with their campaign's disrespectful, insulting messages in regards to minorities, women and the LGBTQ community.

So, Pence wasn't exactly welcomed with open hands. But, things went to a whole new level when the actual cast of "Hamilton" began coming for him, too. According to some tweets, the actors and actresses were throwing subliminal messages to him through their songs and script lines.

But, the icing on the republican cake happened at the end of the play. The "Hamilton" cast had a few words for the VP-elect and the shade was so real. Brandon Dixon, who portrays the character Aaron Burr did the honor of declaring it. Listen to the message below.

Dixon told Pence the following:

Vice-president elect Mike Pence, we welcome you and truly thank you for joining us at Hamilton American Musical. We sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our alienable rights, sir. We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us. We truly thank you for sharing this show, this wonderful American story told by a diverse group of men, women of different colors, creeds and orientation.

Unsurprisingly, president-elect Trump had something to say about this. Read what he tweeted below.
