Justin Bieber gave a special performance of “Let Me Love You” from his “Purpose Tour” concert in Zurich for the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday. Check out the video below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, Bieber’s “Purpose World Tour” began in the U.S. in March. The superstar embarked on the European leg in August, and he heads to Latin America next February. Interestingly, Bieber is actually in Italy today, but had a concert stop in Switzerland on Thursday.
There, his time on stage was taped and seamlessly integrated into tonight’s live broadcast of the Los Angeles-based AMAs on ABC. And while he isn’t at the ceremony in person, this marks the sixth time the singer has been an American Music Awards performer. Last year, as Gossip Cop reported at the time, Bieber closed the AMAs with a medley performance for the show’s finale.
Bieber is nominated at this year’s show for Artist of the Year, the top award. He’s also up for four others, including one of the ceremony’s newest honors, Video of the Year. Counting the new nods, Bieber now has 14 total AMAs nominations over the course of his career, with eight wins. Notably, he previously won Artist of the Year in both 2010 and 2012.
