Pink Fizz Lulu's Makeup Set Wins Worst Toy Of The Year Award

The  Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood has released the winner of its annual TOADY Award. Toady stands for Toys Oppressive and Destructive to Young children. This year the award was given to Pink Fizz Lulu's Makeup Set. 

The makeup set beat out The Game of Life: Empire, View-Master Batman: The Animated Series Virtual Reality Pack, Shopkins Tall Mall Playset, Pokemon GO amd Play-Doh Hulk and Iron Man in an online vote. 

The Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood warns the makeup kit is "oppressive and destructive", sexualizes preschoolers and will cause young girls to have insecurities about their looks. If that "subtle misogyny" isn't enough, "it also has flammable and carcinogenic ingredients!"
