Wu-Tang Clan Affiliate Shot In Neck And Back

The younger brother of Wu-Tang Clan rapper Cappadonna was shot in Staten Island on Saturday (Dec. 10), SILive.com is reporting. 

Sources say that Solomon Childs, whose birth name is Ryan Dale, was struck in the neck and back on Forest Avenue. He's since been receiving medical care at Richmond University Medical Center. His injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

"Police are still searching for the shooting suspects. According to police radio transmissions, the suspects fled westbound down Forest Avenue in a 1997 green Nissan Maxima," SILive.com says.

Many in the neighborhood are wondering if the shooting was a result of a theft gone very wrong. "I came outside when I heard the commotion and I heard some guy yelling something about sneakers so I thought maybe it was a robbery," a bystander admitted.
