Former Volkswagen Execs Indicted Over Emissions Scandal

Six former Volkswagen executives are facing a federal indictment over the automaker's diesel emissions scandal. In a statement at the Justice Department, Attorney General Loretta Lynch said the charges include conspiracy to defraud the United States, violation of the Clean Air Act, and wire fraud.
Lynch also commented on a settlement with the automaker over its attempts to avoid federal emission standards. The settlement includes a payment of more than $$4-billion.
