January 19, 2017
Toby Keith performed at Donald Trump's 'Make America Great Again’ Welcome Celebration Concert, which was held tonight (Thursday) in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington.
Keith's setlist included "American Solider", "Made In America", "Beer For My Horses", and "Courtesy Of The Red, White, And Blue (Angry American)." He stopped down after his opening song to thank each branch of the military along with saying, "Thanks to Barack Obama for your service and thanks for the 45th president Donald Trump, I salute you."
In signature Toby fashion, he was drinking from a red solo cup on stage.
Other country artists also performing during the event were The Frontmen of Country, which includes Tim Rushlow (formerly of Little Texas), Larry Stewart (of Restless Heart), and Marty Roe (of Diamond Rio), and Richie McDonald (formerly of Lonestar). The group played a medley of iconic 80s and 90s country songs including, "The Bluest Eyes in Texas", "Walking In Memphis", "Amy's Back In Austin", "Why Does It Have to Be (Wrong or Right)", "What Might Have Been", and "God Bless Texas."
The group was then joined on stage by Lee Greenwood to sing "God Bless The U.S.A."
