Trump Meets President, First Lady At White House For Tea (VIDEO)

President-elect Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, are meeting President Obama and the First Lady for tea at the White House.  The Obamas greeted the Trumps at the North Portico of the White House.  Mrs. Trump presented the Obamas with a gift and the couples posed for pictures before going inside. 

 Vice President Biden and his wife Jill greeted incoming VP Mike Pence and his wife.  A tea and coffee reception has been set up in the Blue Room.  After the reception, the two couples will head for the Capitol for Donald Trump's inauguration as the nation's 45th President.  

This is a tradition that dates back to the 1837 inauguration.
