Butch Trucks, drummer and co-founder of The Allman Brothers Band, was found dead on January 24th.

Now, according to DailyMail.co.uk, it seems possible that a number of financial hardships may have played a role in Trucks' death. Butch may have owed over half of a million dollars to the IRS and was facing a foreclosure on his home.

The article states that Trucks died as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Even worse, his wife is reported to have seen Trucks perform the act at their home in Florida.

Butch's wife immediately called 911, and when authorities arrived to the scene, he was still alive but gravely wounded and passed away shortly after, according to the article.
