Paul McCartney Delivers Previously Unreleased Demo With Elvis Costello
February 1, 2017
Paul McCartney has released a demo version of Twenty Fine Fingers, recorded with Elvis Costello in 1987 during sessions for his Flowers In The Dirt album. The album is being re-released on March 24, and also features a demo of another unreleased song, Tommy's Coming Home.
Twenty Fine Fingers has previously only been available on the The McCartney/MacManus Collaboration bootleg album under the misheard title Twenty-Five Fingers.
The reissue will be available as a deluxe boxset including more unreleased demos, some unseen archival video, a notebook of Paul’s handwritten lyrics and notes, Linda McCartney's Flowers In The Dirt exhibition catalog, plus a 112-page hardcover book documenting the making of the album.
