Release Date For Faith Evans & Biggie Smalls' Joint Album 'The King & I' Is Confirmed

If you don't know, now you know. Faith Evans is set to release a joint album The King & I with the late Notorious B.I.G. on May 19, 2017, just two days before what would've been Biggie's 45th birthday.
If that doesn't excite you, maybe this will: Lil Kim is featured on it, too. But the "Big Momma Thang" artist isn't the only feature on the upcoming LP. Other stars who will be on it include Biggie's mom, Voletta Wallace; Styles P, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Lil Cease, and more. Moreover, there will be well-known Biggie verses on the new project, as well as verses that have never been heard before.
In a statement to Rolling Stone, Evans spoke about the new album. "I remember telling Ms. Wallace years ago that one day it would be really dope if I could do something similar to Natalie & Nat King Cole's Unforgettable," the R&B queen said. "Knowing the love that B.I.G. had for [his kids] Tyanna & Ceejay, I feel it's my duty to uphold & extend his legacy, especially his musical contributions. This project is my creative reflection of the love we had & the bond we will always have. I'm elated to share this musical journey with our fans!"
