A 31-year-old Scottish woman has been accused of stalking a man for four years, pretending to be his girlfriend and going so far as to Photoshop herself into photos he took with his actual girlfriend.
Though Jill Sharp had never met Graham McQuet, that didn't stop her from telling all of her friends that she was engaged to him.
To help prove it, she did things like creating her own Twitter account for Graham, and going to London a month after the couple visited. There, she took a photo in front of Westminster Abbey and posted it next to a picture of Graham at the English landmark, implying they were there together.
Friends, who already suspected something was up since they never met McQuet, noticed that the ground looked wet in the photo of Graham but was dry in Jill's picture. They examined other photos and realized a few had been Photoshopped. They then tracked down Graham who, along with his real girlfriend Marianne, was shocked.
Unfortunately, since Jill did nothing illegal, there is nothing the police can do. However, since the jig is up, she's deleted her Twitter account.
