Steph Curry Attacks Trump When Asked About Under Armour CEO's Pro-Trump Comments

February 9, 2017

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is offering some harsh criticism of President Trump after Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank called him an "asset to the country."  Curry tells the The San Jose Mercury News he agrees with the description if you remove the 'et' from asset.

Plank's comment came in an interview with CNBC in which he was describing having such a pro-business president.  Plank later issued a statement saying his comment was from a business perspective and not meant as a company social stance.

Curry, who has a major endorsement deal with Under Armour, says he's satisfied with Plank's follow up.  The two-time NBA MVP added that his biggest concern is that the company continues to be inclusive and tries and change lives, not just sell shoes and make money.
