It's only been one year since the death of David Bowie and the rocker continues to rack up the accolades. Bowie won five awards at the 2017 Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Song for "Blackstar", and Best Rock Performance. The Starman has so far been awarded for Best Recording Package, Best Engineered Non-Classical Album, and Best Alternative Music Album.
Surprisingly, this is the first time Bowie has ever won a Grammy award for his music. He took home Best Video, Short Form in 1985, and received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.
The rock legend passed away on January 10th, 2016, at the age of 69. He was privately battling cancer, which served as the subject matter for his incredible final album Blackstar.
Lady Gaga paid tribute to Bowie during the 2016 Grammys along with the late music icon's longtime collaborator Niles Rodgers.
