Kim Kardashian Not Attending Paris Fashion Week, Despite Claims

Kim Kardashian is NOT attending Paris Fashion Week, contrary to claims. Gossip Cop can debunk the erroneous speculation.

“Kanye West Wants Kim Kardashian To Return To Paris 5 Months After $10M Robbery,” HollywoodLife falsely announces in a headline. The webloid says, “Kim Kardashian, 36, was traumatized after being robbed at gunpoint of $10M worth of jewels in Paris on Oct. 3, 2016. Now, the reality star is reportedly considering returning to the City of Lights, only five months later. Kanye West, 39, wants her to attend Paris Fashion Week with him and she’s contemplating it.”

How does HollywoodLies know this? Well, the bad blog picked up this untrue report from People, which mistakenly floated the wrong idea that Kardashian might be heading back to France. The site chose to regurgitate the allegation without bothering to do any of its own research, investigating, or fact-checking. And now the much-mocked outlet has egg all over its face.

Kardashian is not going to Paris Fashion Week, nor was she ever planning to attend the semi-annual style celebration. Furthermore, West has not been pushing her to return to what is obviously now a traumatic location for her. HollywoodLies would’ve known that if, instead of essentially copying and pasting, it engaged in real journalistic practices.

Instead, the webloid is once again guilty of helping to spread misinformation. People has already done an about-face, back-tracking and and flip-flopping on its own reporting by acknowledging that Kardashian will, in fact, not be at Paris Fashion Week. Gossip Cop now expects HollywoodLife to again follow suit. It’s beyond pathetic.
