Political Commentator Alan Colmes Dies At Age 66

Political commentator Alan Colmes is dead at the age of 66.  Known to viewers as the longtime liberal voice on Fox News, he reportedly passed away today after a brief illness.  Former colleague Sean Hannity called Colmes "one of the nicest, kindest and most generous people" as the cable news network ran a tribute this morning.  

In a short statement, the family called Colmes "a great guy, brilliant, hysterical, and moral."  They also asked for "privacy during this very difficult time."
