Mets Players Grabs Flying Bat With Bare Hand (VIDEO)

By Bill Galluccio

March 2, 2017

It is only spring training and we may have the catch of the year. During a game between the New York Mets and Miami Marlins, Adeiny Hechavarria lost control of his bat when he fanned on a pitch. The bat flew toward the Met's dugout sending players running for cover. Everybody but NY Mets infielder Luis Guillorme that is.

Guillorme didn't even flinch as the bat flew toward him. He nonchalantly stuck out his hand and grabbed the bat out of midair. He then tossed the bat back onto the field as if nothing had happened.
