Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are parents… for the fifth time! Gossip Cop has learned that the star gave birth to a baby boy named Beau Dean on Thursday. Their newborn, who arrived at 1:48 p.m., weighed in at 5 pounds and 12 ounces.
“We are over the moon in love with baby Beau. He is a true blessing and his brothers and sisters were overjoyed to meet him! We are all truly grateful for our big beautiful and healthy family,” Spelling says in a statement to People. The actress, who shared the below photo, also tweeted, “We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family! Please join us in welcoming Beau Dean McDermott.”
As Gossip Cop reported, it was revealed in October that Spelling was pregnant with her fifth baby, marking the couple’s first child since a cheating scandal almost tore the pair apart. “It was a total surprise, but we always wanted a big family. I’m really excited” the star told People at the time.
The longtime couple is already parents to Liam, 9, Stella, 8, Hattie, 5 and Finn, 4. McDermott is also father to Jack, 18, from his previous marriage to Mary Jo Eustace. Only days after announcing her fifth pregnancy, Gossip Cop busted a tabloid story falsely claiming Spelling and McDermott were having another child in an attempt to convince her mom, Candy Spelling, to give them a piece of the family’s fortune. Of course, it was just yet another fake news story about the couple.
And Candy actually hosted a lovely baby shower in anticipation of her new grandchild. Now Gossip Cop would like to congratulate Spelling and McDermott on their growing family, and wish them many years of health and happiness!
