Kristen Stewart 'Today' Show Interview On Shaved Head, 'Personal Shopper' (VIDEO)

Kristen Stewart appeared on Thursday’s “Today” show to discuss her movie Personal Shopper and explained the reason behind her new, radical hairstyle. Check out the video below!

Stewart was on the morning show to talk about her new movie, Personal Shopper, but conversation soon turned to her striking new look. “I’m doing a movie in a couple of weeks called Underwater,” she said. “I play a mechanical engineer who is working on an oil rig that’s on the bottom of the ocean floor.” Stewart continued, noting the practicality of having a shaved head for the role. “For me, [the hair] was practical, I’m not going to be able to have touch ups when I put the helmet on, I must shave my head,” she said.

As Gossip Cop reported, Stewart debuted her her brand-new look on Tuesday at the Los Angeles premiere for Personal Shopper. The actress, who has experimented with a variety of different hairstyles over the years, surprised photographers as she walked the red carpet with a platinum blonde buzz cut. “I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time,” Stewart said. “The director suggested [the haircut] and I said, ‘That’s a great idea! I’m game!’ It feels amazing. I just want to head bang all day.” Watch the full interview below!
