MSFTS. It's not just a group, it's a lifestyle. It's not just music, it's art. MSFTS is the movement, and iHeartRadio got all the details and everything you need to know about it from Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, and Harry Hudson during an exclusive interview.

"MSFTS is all about helping the world, and being different, and just creating," Jaden tells us. "Embracing your individuality and creating the world that you want to live in, and the world that you want people around you to have."

Willow continues, "I think people think it's a music thing. But, honestly, it's an everything-thing. It's a life thing. It's a spirit thing." She adds of what it means to be all about MSFTS, "To try to better themselves in the world around them because that's really what MSFTS represents."

And as Harry puts it: "MSFTS is a family."

On how MSFTS came together

As you may already know, Jaden and Willow are siblings, and Harry and Jaden have been friends for a long time. Willow was introduced to Harry through her brother. So, a few years ago, after a long conversation — seven hours long, according to Harry — he and Jaden discovered they not only had a lot of similar music interests, but many other similar goals. Jaden explains:

"Me and Harry had known each other for a long time. We were friends first, and then we realized that we had like musical interests and like interests to want to help the world, and build schools, and build hospitals together, besides just making music. So then we were like, 'That's awesome. Let's work together. Let's really do this.' And then we started MSFTSrep music, and there are even more of us that are in MSFTS. We're the only ones that are performing right now. And then we started a label with Roc Nation."

On what fans can expect from MSFTS

As previously mentioned, MSFTS goes beyond just music. It's art, fashion, activism, philanthropy, and more. The group tells us that fans can expect "a lot of insane art," as well as their clothing line, videos, and art installations, among other things. Harry adds, "We're building hospitals. We're working on that right now. 2018."

On the music side Harry, Willow, and Jaden all bring experience to MSFTS. Willow explains that being on tour in Europe, releasing her singles "Whip My Hair" and "21st Century Girl," has taught her a lot about the music world and the industry in general. She explains, "I feel as though with my past as being on tour in Europe and doing 'Whip My Hair' and '21st Century Girl,' that all taught me logistics of the music world, and how it actually works in the industry. So once I was like, 'What do I actually want to be as an artist?' That actually informed what I wanted to be as a person. So MSFTSrep has actually in so many ways, through informing my art, has made me who I am as a person, and I've been able to give that to other people."

Jaden adds, "We're just trying to bring something different, a new way for the youth and something that the youth can get on and be like, 'You know what? I'm going to be different. I'm going to make music, too.' There's going to be a point in time we will release instrumentals to kids to [say], 'Make songs and send them back to us.' That's what we're trying to do. We're really trying to have and inspire all types of people all over the world everywhere. We're trying to be open to everybody. Everybody's family."

The MSFTS family can keep up to date by checking out MSFTSrep.com, and as Willow says, "To keep up with themselves."
