30 seconds into singing Amy Winehouse’s “Valery” for his audition on Britain’s Got Talent, judge Simon Cowell waved and stopped 12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi, saying, "This is really wrong, what do you sing apart from that?"
The audience and the boy's mother were in shock that Simon stopped the performance but Shaheen wasn’t fazed. Instead, he sang "Who's Loving You" by Michael Jackson. When he began the new tune, the audience realized it was a wise decision. Shaheen crushed it and got a standing ovation. Simon applauded the boy’s performance and said, "This is how one song can change your life. This may be the start of something special for you young man.”
