A movie theater for the "G" and PG crowd has opened in Pico Rivera

Cinépolis USA is welcoming families and their children to two new theaters in Southern California that have a decidedly kid-friendly bent.

The Cinépolice Junior theater in Pico Rivera and one in San Diego are the first to open in the US after Cinépolis tested a similar idea in Mexico. Kids won't just be able to watch their favorite new movie, they'll also have a slide, toys, even a jungle gym! There are even areas for toddlers to play in!

However, that doesn't mean the movie is interrupted. Playtime happens for twenty minutes before the show, followed by a five minute cooldown period. After that, it's movie time!

The junior theater will show G and PG rated movies.
