"Grandpa Rossy" may have retired as a player for the World Series winning Chicago Cubs, but former catcher David Ross has found a new interim activity until he starts working as a Special Assistant to Baseball Operations for the Cubs.
His first dance on the Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars Monday, Mar. 20 will be a quick-step to the Cubs' theme song, "Go Cubs Go!"
Ross is the first major league baseball player to compete on DWTS. Athletes tend to do pretty well on this show! Will he take home the coveted Mirror Ball trophy?? His partner, pro Linsday Arnold, has gotten to the finals twice!
The Chicago Cubs won the 2016 World Series against the Cleveland Indians. Ross played on another World Series winning team, the Boston Red Sox, in 2013.
