Kim Kardashian said she’s become “so much better” because of the robbery in Paris, and even thanked her fans for letting her share her story about it on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” Shortly after Sunday’s episode aired in which the reality star discussed her harrowing experience, she tweeted that she “grew and evolved” from it, rather than letting it “diminish” her.

In a series of tweeted, Kim wrote, “I took a tragic horrific experience and did not let it diminish me, rather grew and evolved and allowed the experience to teach me.” She followed that up by writing, “I can say I’ve become so much better because of it… thank you for allowing me to share my story tonight #KUWTK.”

As Gossip Cop reported earlier in our “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” recap, Kim discussed in detail being robbed at gunpoint of her jewelry and her fear that the perpetrators would either kill or rape her. The episode also featured her sisters Kourtney and Kendall Jenner discussing how they found out about the incident, as well as Kanye West talking about being pulled offstage in New York and being told his wife was robbed in Paris. A good part of the show had Kim detailing for West what went down in the hotel room. “If anything had really happened to you, I wouldn’t have stopped until they were dead,” the rapper told his wife. Meanwhile, Kris Jenner noted in a confessional, “It’s been the most devastating thing to have one of your children fear for their life… The thought of losing Kim is emotionally scarring and hard to overcome.”

Back in Los Angeles, Kim told Kourtney and Khloe that when she heard “pounding up the stairs” in the hotel, she knew something bad was about to happen. As she tried to call her bodyguard, one of the robbers came into the room and threw her on the bed. “This is it,” Kim recalled thinking, as she took her sisters through the robbery moment by moment. She also noted that after she saw they had a gun, she feared they would shoot her, and begged, “I have babies at home… I have a family. Let me live!” And when they pulled out duct tape, Kim was afraid they were going to rape her and still possibly shoot her in the head. But instead, they simply grabbed her jewelry and ran. “Whatever. It’s all replaceable,” Kim told Khloe and Kourtney, who were just happy their sister was alive.

As noted above, while it was indeed scary, Kim now says she won’t let it “diminish” her and in fact “grew” from it. She even feels that she’s “become so much better because of it” and thanked her millions of fans for “allowing me to share my story tonight.”
