Lana Del Rey is hinting at the troubled times in the most Lana Del Rey way ever in a just-released black-and-white trailer for her fifth studio record, Lust For Life.

On Thursday morning (March 29), the pop star unleashed the news about the follow-up to 2015's Honeymoon in a two-and-a-half minute video trailer. It's a "Twilight Zone"-esque announcement, which finding Lana telling viewers that she now resides in the "H" in the famed Hollywood sign.

"You know, in this town, an artist really needs a lot of space when they're trying to create something special. A place to cultivate a world of their own, far away from the real world that’s around them," the 31-year-old explains. "Luckily for me, I live right inside the middle of the 'H' of the Hollywood sign, and this is how I spend most of my nights, perched high above the chaos that swirls within the City of Angels below."

Elsewhere in the trailer, LDR hints at some themes for the forthcoming release, mentioning the "tumultuous period" and "dark times" that we're in the midst of right now.

"So, even though these times can feel a little bit crazy, they’re not so very different from what other generations have experienced at one time or another before," she says. "Amidst all the uncertainty, and as we transition out of one era into another one, there’s no other place I’d rather be than smack-dab in the middle of Hollyweird making this record for you. Because you, and the music, and this place, are my love. My light. My lust for life."

Lana Del Rey's Lust For Life is "coming soon," and you can (probably) expect to hear a collaboration with The Weeknd on the record. Just take a look at her bag of goodies at the 1:28 mark!
