Some Women Are Calling Kendrick Lamar A 'Misogynist' For 'HUMBLE' Video

Kendrick Lamar is here to son all of your favorite rappers and did just that with his "HUMBLE" visual. Last night (March 30), K. Dot dropped the video for his new single and reminded us just how real is he... not that we really needed to be, in the first place.

It appeared as though Kendrick thought some rappers were getting a bit too happy with themselves and needed to be relaxed. Yeah, you're cool. But, you need to be easy, bruh. That was the message of "HUMBLE." Throughout the vid, he was everything BUT that and we weren't mad.

Almost immediately after the piece of art was released, Twitter went into one of the of the most epics states of shock we've seen in a minute. We already peeped Kendrick's steelo when he dropped "The Heart Part 4" last week, but this one was too much. Issa hit, many hip hop fans were shouting!

Read some Twitter reactions to the "HUMBLE" video below.

These aren't all the responses "HUMBLE" has been getting. Many people on social media are blasting him for what they deem as "misogynistic" lyrics, specifically, "I'm so f*kin' sick and tired of the Photoshop/ Show me somethin' natural like afro on Richard Pryor/ Show me somethin' natural like ass with some stretch marks."

Check those responses out below.

As a proud woman myself, I just have one thing to say to all of these people... sit down.

Kendrick isn't saying, "Don't wear makeup!" or "Never use Photoshop again!" He's simply telling women that we don't have to feel pressured to look "perfect" at all times. Like many other people, myself included, he wants balance in how women are portrayed. Besides, many people just looovveee hashtagging "#nofilter" on IG photos. Kendrick is saying the EXACT SAME THING. Shoutout to all the intelligent women who get this and are praising K. Dot for his words.
