This Iconic Demi Lovato Meme is Making a Comeback

Two years ago, an iconic meme was born. A picture of Demi Lovato with bright lighting and an awkward angle went viral after one fan dubbed it "Poot Lovato." According to the meme's creator, Poot was "Demi's twin sister. She was locked in a basement her whole life. This picture was taken the first time she went outside." 

At the time, Demi wasn't a big fan of Poot. She tweeted her disapproval saying "cool to see a shitty angle turn into a meme that circulates the internet to people's amusement." It seems the pop star has changed her mind about Poot, though, because she tweeted out a hilarious gif this morning. 

Demi's tweet sparked a resurgence of Poot memes across the internet.
