Westbrook Falls Just Short Of Triple Double Record

April 6, 2017

Russell Westbrook fell a rebound shy of his record 42nd triple-double but the Thunder closed out the Grizzlies, 103-100, in Memphis.  Westbrook scored 45 points, while nailing a career-high eight three-pointers, and added 10 assists, nine boards and five steals.

His three-pointer with 14 seconds left was the difference as OKC improved to 45-and-33.  Marc Gasol posted 23 points for Memphis and Zach Randolph added 20 points and nine rebounds in defeat.  The Grizz are on a three-game slide.
