DAMN: Kendrick Lamar Met Louis Farrakhan (PHOTOS)

Yesterday (April 11), Kendrick Lamar met the leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan. The photos of this meet up have since spread across social media.

Earlier that day, K. Dot also revealed the cover art and track list of DAMN. It looks like the MC wasn't done with the surprises that day. The minister posted a couple of pictures about meeting Lamar for the very first time on his Instagram account.

Believe it or not, but Farrakhan has been a fan of the rapper for quite some time. While delivering a speech to members of the Nation of Islam last year, the leader said: "Kendrick Lamar set a new standard, he freed rappers to come on up. When the rappers are free to say it like it is... the cultural revolution is on."

The admiration that Farrakhan had for Lamar was mutual. The "HUMBLE" artist looked very happy to have met such an influential, powerful figure in the black community. Take a look at the pics of their meet up below.
