Yesterday (April 12), Charlie Murphy died at the age of 57 from leukemia. Now, his dear friend Dave Chappelle is remembering the comedian, along with John Mayer

Chappelle made a special appearance at one of Mayer's shows in Columbus. While there, he spoke about losing his friend and the time they spent together on "Chapelle's Show." "Rest in peace, Charlie Murphy. We love you," Chappelle said. "We love your comedy. We love your stories and we love your spirit."

Then, Mayer took it away and began performing "You're Gonna Live Forever In Me." Mayer picked this song because Chappelle said that its lyrics remind him of his late friend. He clearly looked very emotional, as he sat on a stood onstage with Mayer and heard him singing the track.
