This Guy Used The Patriots Super Bowl Comeback To Motivate Marathon Runners

A man was photographed trying to motivate runners in the Boston Marathon with a reminder that no matter the odds, your goal is always withing in reach. The unidentified man, was seen holding a sign showing the Patriots down 25 points to the Atlanta Falcons with just over 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter of Super Bowl LI. The Patriots went on to win 34-28 in overtime. 

While the photo itself is awesome enough, the replies are even better. Whenever an image on social media goes viral, news organizations message the user for permission to use the photo in their reporting.

In most cases, this is a quick back and forth, but in this case, @advil decided to throw some shade at ESPN when they asked to use it.  It turns out @advil, and a good portion of New England fans, have a vendetta against ESPN for their negative coverage of Tom Brady stemming from "deflate-gate."

When ESPN asked for permission, @advil denied them the right and not-so-politely told them to block his account. 

When another reporter asked for permission, he made sure to let @advil know they were not ESPN. 

When a reporter who works for NFL Network asked for permission, he was given it, but with one caveat, they must credit him as "Abdul Dremali: super famous scientist". According to his profile, Abdul is a "Biomechanical & Data Scientist."

New England fans loved his savage response to ESPN, applauding him for calling out the network.
