In honor of their late friend Charlie Murphy, comedian George Lopez and D.L. Hughley got matching tattoos of Murphy's nickname, "Darkness."

The deceased funny man died last week from leukemia. The death was extremely shocking because the majority of people who were familiar with Murphy had no idea he was battling this disease. On Wednesday (April 19), he was laid to rest and close loved ones said their final goodbyes.

Lopez and Hughley were both at the funeral. It looks like they wanted to take their love for Murphy one step further. So, they decided that tattoos were the way to go. Lopez uploaded a photo of himself and Hughley's new ink on his Snapchat. “Eternal #Darkness is spreading,” he captioned it.

Take a look at the picture below.

Murphy got the name "Darkness" from Rick James, back in the 1980s. Murphy often joked about this time period during his "Chappelle's Show" comedy skits.
