McDonalds unveiled new uniforms for employees last week and the reception was... less than kind.

While the hamburger mogul has never been known for its fashion (Ronald McDonald's been wearing the same outfit since the 1960's), the new uniforms are a bit more... dreary than what you're probably used to.

The internet, never one to let a joke go without beating it to death, was quick to jump on McDonalds' new fashion choice.

If anything, the Hunger Games inspired uniforms could portend a new fashion trend for retailers. Can you imagine stepping into a Target and seeing employees dressed up as members of the Empire? Or perhaps your Sunday afternoon visit to CostCo will also include interacting with employees wearing Star Trek inspired uniforms?

It could happen.
