Demi Lovato has gone from singer, actress, and humanitarian, to fashion designer. The multi-faceted artist decided to put her talents into creating a capsule clothing collection with Fabletics, the athletic wear company co-founded by Kate Hudson in 2013.
The famous brand designs unique, comfortable, and budget-friendly pieces that are sold through their monthly subscription service, where new designs are offered each month to the consumers.
This is the first time that Fabletics joins forces with a celebrity to create a line, making Lovato a pioneer in this market.
The best part is that a portion of this endeavor will benefit the Girls Up initiative, which is run by the United Nations. This program works to empower young women all around the world to be strong and believe in their skills and creativity.
Demi announced the line via Instagram noting: βBeing active is a huge part of my life, so it was important for me to create a line that's accessible, comfortable and fashionable, while inspiring you to take care of your mind and body.β
Aside from these news, Lovato also announced that she will be releasing an exclusive biographical documentary on YouTube which will follow her through her last year. The series will depict her journey through self-discovery, and her experience creating music for her upcoming album.
Iβm so excited for you guys to see my doc when it comes out! π https://t.co/Y8blXgHLRK
