Fans of Tool and A Perfect Circle let out a collective sigh when whoever runs the Twitter account for APC responded to a fan that asked if bands were releasing new albums in 2017.
Tool fans have been ravenous for a new record after an update on the band's website said that Maynard James Keenan had begun working on vocals. Back in March, A Perfect Circle put out an official press release saying their fourth album would be out in 2017. So why has the message changed?
If we can believe whoever runs APC's Twitter account, neither of the bands will release a new album this year. Check out the tweets below.

While Tool delaying an album is not a surprise, the news that APC is delaying their album is a bit more distressing. Looks like we'll have to keep waiting.
