President Trump is nominating Brock Long as the new chief of FEMA.  Long is a former director of Alabama's Emergency Management Agency.

If confirmed by the Senate, Long will replace Craig Fugate.  Fugate ran FEMA during the Obama administration.  Long is currently an executive VP at Hagerty Consulting, an emergency management consulting firm in Washington, DC.
