The U.S. Capitol is about to get some DAMN. flavor. A painting of Kendrick Lamar will be displayed in the building for one year.
Every year, a winner is picked in the Congressional Art Competition. This year's winner is a student named Tiona Cordova. She attends Pueblo, Colorado's Centennial High School. Cordova painted the stunning portrait of the "HUMBLE." rapper and now's her work of art will be presiding at the Capitol for all visitors to adore.
Colorado Congressman Scott Tipton made the major announcement. Cordova is also set to be publicly recognized at a Washington, D.C. ceremony later on this year. K. Dot has yet to respond to this. But, we're sure he will soon.
Congrats to you, Tiona Corova! Your painting is amazing! See her work of art below.
