Watch Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie Strut In Red Thigh-High Stilettos For 'Kinky Boots'

Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie is preparing for the opportunity of a lifetime when he steps in thigh-high stilettoes for his upcoming role in the Broadway smash, "Kinky Boots."

On Monday (May 15), fans of the hit Broadway show received their first taste of Urie as Charlie Price, the shoe factory owner who finds friendship with a drag queen after receiving devastating news about his family business. 

In a new one-minute video promo for his upcoming role, the PATD frontman talks about the venture, which is something he's dreamt about since he was small. "I used to dream about this day. Just being a part of musical theater — so this literally is a dream come true," he says in the clip. "What drew me to the show was when I saw it, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. It moved me so much, that end moment, the finale — I felt like, I want to get up and shout and celebrate life."

"That feeling resonated within me, and I wanted to be a part of it. The message is so clear. It’s so relatable," the 30-year-old star added. “When audiences leave 'Kinky Boots,' I hope they feel that passion that I felt, that was like a fire inside of my chest. If you want to laugh, if you want to cry, if you want to feel something so strong at the end of a show, then come to the show. It’s just incredible."
