Soundgarden was set to headline Ohio's Rock on the Range festival on Friday, and while the band cancelled after the tragic death of singer Chris Cornell, the rocker's spirit was alive and well at the event.

During the time when Soundgarden would've performed, a video tribute to Cornell played. Following it, Stone Sour's Corey Taylor and Christian Martucci dedicated a rendition of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" to the late singer, telling the crowd, "We're gonna do our best to send some love upstairs."

The pair also did "Hunger Strike," the hit from Chris' group Temple of the Dog, a track Corey and Slipknot previously sang with Halestorm a couple years ago.

Elsewhere during the festival, Live performed Audioslave's "I Am The Highway" and Bush played a little of Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun."

Cornell died by suicide on Thursday after Soundgarden's show in Detroit. He was 52.
