John Legend & Florida Georgia Line's Duet At The Billboard Music Awards Was Heavenly

John Legend and Florida Georgia Line teamed up for a very special performance during this year's Billboard Music Awards. The R&B star and country duo performed a duet that was simply heavenly.

Sitting solo on stage at a grand piano, John performed his song "Surefire" from his most recent album Darkness and Light. Then, Florida Georgia Line appeared and started singing their hit "H.O.L.Y." from their Dig Your Roots album.

As the duo sang "H.O.L.Y.," John played the piano, until he too joined the guys vocally for their on-stage duet. 

This the first time FGL has collaborated with John Legend, but the guys are no strangers to teaming up with artists you wouldn't expect. Their 2016 album Dig Your Roots includes collabs with the Backstreet Boys and Ziggy Marley, and they famously linked up with Nelly on their smash hit "Cruise."
