Ellie Goulding Is Mourning A Major Loss In Video For Kygo Collab 'First Time'

Kygo and Ellie Goulding's "First Time" is still a simmering hit, but the pair's dance cut may turn into a bonafide smash with the release of the music video, which dropped on Monday (May 22).

In the Mathew Cullen-directed video, viewers follow Goulding as she rocks a killer funeral dress and reminisces inside of a old and dusty home, which is covered in ash. Throughout the clip, the pop star finds herself in between flashback of Kygo's character, who appears as some kind of superhero, with super flame powers in his hands. We won't spoil how it all ends.

Earlier this month, "First Time" debuted in the top 10 tier of Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, so we'll have to wait and see if the Norwegian DJ's record makes a jump back to the top.
