Crowd Spontaneously Sings Oasis' 'Don’t Look Back in Anger' After Moment of Silence for Manchester Victims

An incredible moment happened after the large crowd gathered in Manchester’s St. Ann’s Square in honor of the victims of the suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert held a moment of silence. A woman named Lydia Bernsmeier-Rullow began to sing Oasis' 1995 hit "Don't Look Back In Anger" and the rest of the crowd joined in.

Guardian reporter Josh Halliday spoke with Lydia, who led the beautiful moment. “‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’, that’s what this is about," she said. "We can’t be looking backwards to what happened, we have to be looking forward to the future.”
