August Alsina Reveals He's Suffering From Serious Liver Disease (VIDEOS)

August Alsina has revealed that he's suffering from a serious liver disease. The singer/songwriter posted two clips of an interview -- that his friend, actress Jada Pinkett-Smith, conducted -- where he admitted this shocking news. 

Over the weekend, Alsina hinted that he was battling with some medical issues. He captioned  a picture of himself: "I've been living my life in so much dis-ease that I've literally created it within myself... God has invested something inside of me..I have so much to share, until I do.. Please say a prayer."

Now, he's opened up more to tell his fans the exact health issues that he's facing. "I have a liver disease where my autoimmune system is fighting against itself," Alsina says to Pinkett-Smith in the clip. "The reality is that I'm sick all the time." 

The recording artist captioned the post: "I'm sicker than ever & having a hard time accepting what I feel & what the doctors are saying is most true. After sitting down and talking with my fathers mother and sister.. They explained to me that sickness & illness runs in my family. My father & grandfather both died of severe illness."

We must admit, since we've seen him in the spotlight over the past few years, we've noticed that he gets sick very often. But, we had no idea things were this severe.
