Adam West, star of the 1960's TV series "Batman" has died at his home in Los Angeles after a battle with leukemia according to a statement released by the family.
There are no words to describe how much we'll miss him. We know you'll miss him too and we want you to know how much your love and support meant to him throughout the years. Hug your loved ones today. - The West Family
The actor was best known for playing Batman/Bruce Wayne in the 1960's television series that ran from 1966 - 1968 and was one of the best known portrayals of the caped crusader. His credit also included multiple voice over work for shows like "Family Guy," "The Simpsons," and "The Fairly OddParents."
West was 88 years old.
