FBI: Flint Airport Attacker 'Has a Hatred for the US'

"Suffice to say, he had a hatred of the United States," Detroit FBI chief David Gelios says of Canadian citizen Amor Ftouhi, who is accused of stabbing a police officer in a suspected terrorist attack at Flint, Michigan's airport. 

Ftouhi, a 49-year-old Montreal resident, has been charged with committing a violent act in an airport. "We’re seeking search warrants for electronic media, for his vehicle," but for now, "we view him as a lone wolf attacker," Gelios says. 

Police say Ftouhi yelled "Allahu akbar" before stabbing Lt. Jeff Neville in the neck. Authorities say Neville, who fought the attacker and brought him to the ground, is in satisfactory condition at a local hospital, the Detroit Free Press reports.
