CNN Producer Caught on Tape Admitting Trump/Russia Coverage is "Bulls***" Done for Ratings

By and large, we think James O’Keefe, the conservative provocateur and founder of Project Veritas, is kind of skeezy.
When Project Veritas, which seeks to disseminate recordings taken inside the MSM superstructure that confirm biased coverage, first launched almost four months ago, there wasn’t much to get excited about.
But given the rough week CNN is having, with three decorated journos resigning after an embarrassing retraction, it seems a perfect time to share a video from PV’s website. It’s film of John Bonifield, a supervising producer at CNN, candidly admitting that most of CNN’s coverage of the Trump/Russia collusion story is “bulls***” done for ratings.
Caveats, many of them, apply. This is a taped conversation over lunch/in an elevator. One gets little sense of whatever introductory remarks might have been made. And Bonifield is a supervising producer of health coverage, not politics.
But Bonifield, in the video, also gives a window into editorial meetings at CNN where higher-ups are directing coverage away from other narratives, and focusing exclusively on Russia — and succeeding in the ratings department. With a narrative that determined, it is just as important to disseminate the counternarrative.
CNN has already released a statement claiming that Bonifield’s comments represent the “diversity of perspective” at CNN.
📬: “CNN stands by our medical producer John Bonifield. Diversity of personal opinion is what makes CNN strong, we welcome it & embrace it.”

But that statement is, in itself, BS. Bonifield’s isn’t one of many perspectives. It IS the perspective.
