Sand Sculpture Of Chris Christie Sitting On Beach In New Jersey

A group of people at the Jersey Shore on Tuesday used their creativity to express frustration with Governor Chris Christie.  After the "Star Ledger" photographed Christie sitting with his family on an otherwise empty beach during the state government shutdown, outrage became widespread.

One group created a larger than life sand sculpture of Christie in his beach chair, wearing shorts and a baseball cap.  A plaque beneath the sculpture read "IBSP," for Island Beach State Park where the governor was photographed.  Following an end to the shutdown this week, the state government will resume full operations Wednesday.
