Guess who's back? Back again... Ladies and gentlemen, Eminem is reportedly working on his ninth studio album.
The Detroit MC hasn't released an album since 2013's The Marshall Mathers LP 2. He also released a 8-minute long freestyle entitled "Campaign Speech" right before the 2016 Presidential election, mainly aimed at Donald Trump. Now, it looks like Em is ready to gift a brand new project and we couldn't be anymore hype about it.
In a recent interview with Uproxx, The Defiant Ones director Allen Hughes revealed this... perhaps accidentally. "Dre still records. People donβt know this: Dre records every day. Literally, heβs in there recording songs every day," Hughes said. "Heβs like Picasso in that way. Heβs always painting. Right now heβs producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminemβs latest album. So Dreβs still real active in music, you know? But I hear what youβre saying. Itβs the truth."
2 Chainz recently admitted that he's also been working with Eminem on his new LP, as well. That's not too hard to believe, considering the fact that Chainz posted photos of himself with Em on Instagram a couple of weeks ago. We don't know anymore details about Slim Shady's new project, such as its name, first single or release date. Nevertheless, we can't wait for it to arrive.
