Cyclists who take part in the Tour de France ride 2,200 miles over 23 days, so it's no surprise that it takes a toll on their bodies, but people are still pretty shocked by the photo one biker posted of his legs after riding the race. Brace yourself:

After sixteen stages I think my legs look little tired 😬 #tourdefrance

Cyclist Pawel Poljianski pointed out how tired his legs look after 16 stages of the race and apparently, his tired legs have enormous veins.

It turns out it's a condition called enhanced vascularity that happens because competitive riders have twice as much blood flowing to their legs than recreational riders, but the blood winds up pooling in their leg veins making them much more visible.

Not surprisingly, Twitter couldn't handle it:

Don't worry, the condition won't affect you if you go spinning or for a ride around the block.
