Legendary Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps is defending his race against a computer-generated great white shark.  Phelps pointed out in a Facebook Live session yesterday that he and the Discovery Channel were completely open about the fact that he'd be featured racing against a CGI image off the coast of South Africa as part of Shark Week.  Phelps lost by two seconds.

He made it clear he has no intention of swimming against a real great white in the ocean.  He said, quote, "If somebody actually wants to get in the water and race side by side with a great white, go ahead."  Phelps said that would be "interesting to see."
