Dad Thinks Drawing Is Dirty, Then Realizes It's Upside Down

We all know that kids say the darndest things. There is never a dull moment when it comes to young children and their curious brains.

It’s always exciting to see what they bring home from their days learning at school. Sometimes, their works of art and notes can be refreshingly and brutally honest.

I still remember the Mother’s Day card my sister brought home that thanked my mom for “always making her mac and cheese.” Granted, she did have a point.

One dad, a Reddit user who goes by Bubsing, shared a school project that his daughter brought home.

The dad was rightfully alarmed when his elementary-school-aged daughter showed him a drawing that looked rather inappropriate.

As you can imagine, no father wants to believe that his little girl is starting to learn about “grown-up” topics.

However, Bubsing admitted that he jumped to conclusions. Once you see the drawing, you’ll understand why.

When Bubsing’s daughter first brought home her work of art, the dad was rightfully concerned about the explicit nature of what she was depicting.

He couldn’t help but notice that the project looked a bit… raunchy.

As it turns out, this is a classic case of a grown-up seeing something vulgar in a kid’s totally innocent project.

When Dad decided to change his perspective and turn the craft upside down, it revealed a very different picture.

What the little girl was actually trying to create was entirely innocent.

Her inspiration was nothing inappropriate, just a version of Fly Guy, a character depicted in school activity books.
